7th Session Chair, Militiades Sarigiannidis, Assistant Professor

Dr. Miltiadis Sarigiannidis is Assistant Professor in Public International Law at the Law Faculty of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece). He teaches, public international law, law of international organizations, international protection of human rights, law of armed conflict, and international relations. He also lectures in many academic and professional institutions around Greece. He is a member of the governing board of the Aegean Institute on the Law of the Sea and Maritime Law, and acting Vice-President of the Governing Board of the Hellenic Society of International Law and International Relations. He is also an expert (CIMIC) in humanitarian law for NATO Rapid Deployable Corps (NRDC-GR). He holds a Dr.Jur. in International Law, a M.A. in International Conflict Analysis, a M.A. in Systematic Philosophy, a LL.M. in International Studies and a LL.B. His main research interests focus on the UN legal order, the use of force, dispute settlement, humanitarian law and the international protection of human rights.
