«The Genocide of the Christian Populations of the Ottoman Empire through the Greek and the International Press»

This research discusses the depiction and the adumbration of the Genocide of the christian populations of the Ottoman Empire in the greek and the international press of the era. An initial approach is attempted to the dimensions that these controversial events took place during 1908-1923 in the daily european and american newspapers, serving each different purposes. The dissimilar interpretations that shape and guide the framework of the perception of the genocide of the Armenians, Greeks and Assyrians, are therefore investigated, demonstrating the extreme nationalism of the Young Turks at the expense of christian minorities.
