Marilena Papadaki is a post-doctorate researcher at the Department of History of the University of Athens. She studied at the Department of History and Archeology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has completed her Master’s and PhD degrees at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales of Paris. Her PhD dissertation explores the life of internationalist Nicolas Politis (1872-1942). Her work deals with the historical biography, the history and philosophy of international law, diplomatic history and the history of international academic and political institutions of the interwar period. She has worked as a historian researcher at the Jewish Museum of Thessaloniki and she is currently a research fellow of the “Kalliopi Koufa Foundation for the Promotion of International and Human Rights’ Law”. She has published the conclusion of her research in articles, magazines, conference proceedings and collective volumes in Greece and abroad. Her latest research is related to Greek cases before the Permanent Court of International Justice.
