Khushboo Chauhan is currently working as an assistant professor at School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, India. She holds a Ph.D and an M. Phil. degree in Law and Governance from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India where she worked on her doctoral thesis titled ‘Genocides: Law, Politics and History’ . Her M. Phil. dissertation focused on local governance, Panchayati Raj Institutions and civil society in the state of Karnataka, Indiaa. She has also been awarded a LL.M. degree in International law, a LL.B. degree and a B.A. degree in Psychology and Political Science. Her research interests include Genocide and Holocaust Studies, International Law, International Organizations, Human rights, International politics, Public Policy and Governance with emphasis on it’s legal dimensions, decentralization, global governance and civil society. She has presented papers both abroad and in India and also has a couple of publications to her credit.
